About Me

I was born into a middle-class family. We lived a very humble life. The luxuries of life were not ours to take so we lived happily with what we had.

Living paycheck to paycheck is not easy, sometimes it got very difficult for my parents to make both ends meet, but they struggled and strive hard to provide me with everything that I needed. I got what I needed but I always knew, from a very young age, that it was not easy for my parents.

My real struggle started when I started going to school and as I grew up this struggle became more and tougher and I started to lose my confidence. I was not blessed with a very sharp brain that works great in math.

My grades were not extraordinary, and I wasn’t very cool enough for school. Soon I got labeled as the ‘dumb one’ in school, and this label messed up my mind a lot. My confidence shattered, and I was unable to learn anything.

Even the things that I was good at now seemed very difficult to me and the pressure on me was continuously building. A part of this pressure came from other people while a good part came from me. I started getting bullied at school and by this time I was sure that I will never amount to anything in my life and that I will just be an unsuccessful person.

The bullying at school and all the other pressures of studies and being, as they called ‘the dumb one’ was continuously building up on my mind. I tried so hard to fix everything, but nothing really seemed to be working so eventually I stopped trying. In all of this, the one person who stayed with me was my mother.

She constantly tried to help me, and she would always say to me that you don’t need to listen and believe in all of their opinions, they don’t matter. However, in front of the words that I heard at school, her words did not seem to be that effective on me.

I became depressed and suicidal and wanted to take my life. In this time, I was introduced to weight lifting. It was the first thing that really caught my attention and I felt interested in it.

So, I started spending time on it. I started learning it and I started working out. Eventually, my body started to change. I started getting stronger and my muscles started to get more defined. I looked better and I felt confident because I was doing something that I loved.

Soon after that I started my job and started working very hard to do the best I could. While I was at my job, my manager introduced me to stocks. At that time, I knew nothing about stocks and investment but something in my heart said that I should try it, and so I did.

I went to the bank and got all the information. The bank told me that I would need to have $30,000 to start investing. Obviously, I did not have that much money in my account but I still wanted to give this a try.

I did some research on my own. I started reading books on investing to have the maximum knowledge for me to start investing.

I got myself well taught on the topic and decided to give it a try. It was a risky decision, but sometimes you need to take some risks for the better to come to you.  I opened my bank account with just $1,500. Gradually I was able to collect enough money to start investing and when I did invest, it proved to be the best decision of my life.

I am happy to say that I did not give up on life, I tried really hard until I made it. There are still many things that I struggle with, but that’s just how life is. I wake up every day to be better than I was yesterday.

I have learned that no matter what happens, no matter how hard things get, never let anyone else decide what you can do and what cannot do. it is your life and only you have the right and power to decide what happens with it.

Never give up on your dreams, just be who you are, accept the fact that you are different because you have to be different, there cannot be anyone like you because God has made you unique and life is the biggest blessing that you have.
